  • Management: Met with scientists from the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory to portray the science of the cyclotron as accurately as possible through the gameplay elements. Managed and delegated tasks to team members. Worked individually with each team member to make sure each gameplay mode transitioned smoothly into the next (each team member worked on a different gameplay mode).

  • Engine: Led the design and development of the gameplay progression, utilizing difficulty modifiers and variations to allow replayability across +3000 levels. Created algorithms for the randomization and balance of gameplay elements at runtime. Designed and developed the unlocking system for gameplay scoring, rewards, and table progression.

  • Gameplay: Led the design of the various phase gameplay modes and difficulty modifiers. Worked with the team developing the final phase of gameplay. Worked with a mentor to design and led the development of the UI / UX elements of the game. Created touch controls for the table of nuclides.

  • Audio: Designed, developed, and implemented the sound effects and soundtrack for the game.
